The Alf Upton Award
Coach of the Year
The Coach of the Year is awarded annually to the Coach that best fulfils the following criteria:
- Significant achievement in terms of results. This may be outstanding results over a single or consecutive seasons or may reflect a significant improvement in the team coached by the recipient in the year of award over previous seasons. Additional consideration is given to any Coach involved with more than one team in a given season.
- Has made a significant contribution to the Club and/or Local Community.
- Conducts his or her self in keeping with the principles of sportsmanship and fair play and represents the Cronulla RSL Youth Soccer Club with distinction.
A short list of candidates will be determined by the Members of the Executive Committee towards season’s end and the winner determined by vote amongst Committee Members in attendance at their September Meeting. In the event of ties the President shall have the deciding vote.
The Perc McFadden Award
Junior Team of the Year
The Junior Team of the Year is awarded annually to the Junior Team that best fulfils the following criteria:
- Significant achievement in terms of results. This may be outstanding results over a single or consecutive seasons or may reflect a significant improvement in the year of award over previous seasons
- Has made a significant contribution to the Club and/or Local Community.
- Plays and conducts itself in keeping with the principles of sportsmanship and fair play and represents the Cronulla RSL Youth Soccer Club with distinction.

The Barry Milton Award
Senior Team of the Year
The Senior Team of the Year is awarded annually to the Junior Team that best fulfils the following criteria:
- Significant achievement in terms of results. This may be outstanding results over a single or consecutive seasons or may reflect a significant improvement in the year of award over previous seasons
- Has made a significant contribution to the Club and/or Local Community.
- Plays and conducts itself in keeping with the principles of sportsmanship and fair play and represents the Cronulla RSL Youth Soccer Club with distinction.

The Keith Ward Award
Community Spirit Award
The Community Spirit Award is awarded to an individual involved with the Cronulla RSL Youth Soccer Club in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the Club and/or Local Community in a given year or over a number of years.
- Any Player, Coach, Manager or Parent involved with the Cronulla RSL Youth Soccer Club in a given season or seasons is potentially eligible for this Award.
- Nominations will be accepted from any source connected to the Club and considered by the Members of the Executive Committee who make the final decision regarding the Award.
- It should be noted that this award is not necessarily an annual award but can be awarded annually if a sufficiently meritorious individual contribution can be identified.
SSFA Awards
Merit Award
A Merit Award is awarded to recognise a person’s contribution to Football in the Sutherland Shire and is generally bestowed on Club members for long and dedicated service.
