1ONLINE REGISTRATION
Online Registration Commences 7th January 2022

All returning players must self-register online before 9am 20 February 2022. www.playfootball.com.au/register and you will be guided through step by step.

Late fees will apply to any registrations received after 9am 20 February 2022.

2NEW PLAYERS

New Players can still register online, BUT they will need to come to the Cronulla RSL Football Clubhouse at Solander on the advertised* Open Days dates for Proof of Residency and Age to be sighted by the Committee.

3WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY REGO FEE?
Your registration fees covers registration costs, insurance, match fees, referee fees and ground fees.
4CAN I USE MY ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER?
Yes, if it has not been used for another sports registration. 2022 vouchers will commence from 1 January and expire on 31 December 2022. go to: www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-active-kids-voucher NOTE: VOUCHERS must be applied at the time of registration apply before starting your rego
5FAMILY DISCOUNTS

Family Discounts are available for families* that register 3 or more players with Cronulla RSL Football Club. The Third Child Free Discount will apply to the youngest player in a family, eldest 2 players/children need to register on-line whilst the 3rd player will need to register at the Club on advertised registration days in order to receive the discount.

*A family member is deemed to be a spouse, de facto spouse, father, mother, brother, sister, son or daughter (including step) grandfather, grandmother, granddaughter or grandson living in the same residence - proof of residency will need to be sighted by the Committee to receive the discount.

6UNIFORMS

All players will need to have a Cronulla RSL Football Club uniform: shorts, jersey and socks - all available to either purcahse or order from the club house on advertised Open Days.

Please note we do not sell shin pads or boots this will need to be purchased elsewhere.

All new players (including U6) will need to pay for their uniforms prior to receiving it.

7CAN I BY BOOTS & SHIN PADS AT THE CLUB?
No, you will need to purchase your own soccer boots & shin pads, we do not sell these at the club. Please note players will not be allowed to play if they are not wearing shin pads - even U6 and U7's
8WHAT AGE CAN MY CHILD START PLAYING SOCCER?
Player must turn five (5) years or older between 1st January and 31st December of the current year.
9TEAM ALLOCATIONS
Team Allocations is compulsory for all Junior players U6 – U18. Full details on grading nights will be announced on our Facebook Page and website.
10CAN I COACH OR MANAGE MY KIDS TEAM?
YES! Our club is run entirely on volunteers and without the help of people like you, the Club simply will not function. You’re welcome to Coach or Manage your child’s team as long as nobody else has put their hand up before you. You will also need to register as a coach or manager (no fee involved) at www.playfootball.com.au/register
11DO I NEED ANY QUALIFICATIONS TO COACH MY CHILDS TEAM?

Not really, a basic understanding of the game is helpful, we have a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR who is always willing to help you out, should you need it, leading up to the start of the season we will adding information on coaching & training drills to our website as the season progresses.

You will need to get a Working with Children’s Check on https://wwccheck.ccyp.nsw.gov.au/Applicants/Application which is free for volunteers and is valid for 5 years.

12LATE REGISTRATIONS

Higher registration fees apply after '9am 20 February 2022

Please note registrations not completed and paid for by 9am 20 February 2022 may NOT be accepted, depending on team numbers.

13PAYMENT
Payments can be made online using Visa or Mastercard. All fees must be paid in full before players can attend grading, training or trial games. No player is covered by insurance until they are registered.
14REFUNDS
Any players withdrawing from a team after team sheets have been submitted to the SSFA, will forfeit 50% of their registration fee plus all SSFA fees.
15WHAT’S INVOLVED IN BEING A TEAM’S MANAGER?
The role of a Manager is simply the conduit of communication between the Club and the team. Basically, anything to do with the team ‘Off the field’ is the Manager’s responsibility. If you can text or email you can be a manager! You will also need to register as a coach or manager (no fee involved) at www.playfootball.com.au/register

16PHOTOGRAPHS
All photographs have been preloaded to the new system. All new players U10 and over and all players entering U10’s will require photos, all photographs must be taken on the new online system on the registration days. There is no requirement for other photos to be taken unless it’s deemed there is a significant difference.
17SPONSORSHIP/ADVERTISING

18DO PARENTS NEED TO REGISTER TOO?
Yep, If you’d like to be a coach or manager you will also need to register your details as a volunteer (no fee involved) on www.playfootball.com.au/register
19I WANT TO PLAY IN THE SENIORS - Can I play over 30’s, 35’s, 40’s or over 45’s?
To be eligible to play in an Over 35 competition a player must have attained the age of 35 or older by 31st December of the year PRIOR to the current season. For example if you turn 30 on the 1 February 2022 you will be eligible to play over 30’s in 2022, if you turn 35 in 2022 you will be eligible to play in the over 35’s etc.
20WHAT AGE GROUP WILL MY CHILD BE IN?
A player’s age group will be determined by the age the player is between 1st January and 31st December in the year they are playing. For example if you turn 7 on 1 February 2019 you will play in the U7’s.
21Working with Children Check (WWCC)
If you are going to be a Coach, Mnager, Assistant Coach or Assitant Manager; you will need to get a Working with Children Check on https://wwccheck.ccyp.nsw.gov.au/Applicants/Application which is free for volunteers and is valid for 5 years.
